The KT approach

Confidence that comes from practice.

Children learn more than a sequence of movements. Listening to a correction, repeating a technique, and working respectfully with others all matter. At KT, progress is earned through consistent effort and individual guidance.

Your first visit

A starting point that fits.

We’ll ask about your child’s age and experience, then recommend a class. During the trial you can get to know the school and discuss the next step with Master Kim. There is no need to choose a belt-level class on your own.

Meet Grand Master Kim
Which class should a beginner join?

Start with a free-trial request and tell us your child’s age and experience. We’ll recommend the appropriate class rather than asking you to choose a belt level.

Is this the same as karate?

KT teaches traditional Korean Taekwondo. Karate is a different martial art. Families comparing kids’ martial arts can visit a trial class to see our teaching approach firsthand.

Can a child with previous training join?

Yes, contact the school with details of their previous training and belt level. Master Kim can discuss a suitable class and next steps.

Can we ask about confidence and bullying concerns?

Yes. Tell Master Kim what you hope your child will work on, including confidence, self-control, or personal boundaries. We can discuss how training fits those goals. If bullying is happening, involve the responsible adults at school as well.
